What is the work?

Management:

  • Spends the majority of time using independent judgement in making employmentrelated and business decisions, or effectively recommending such decisions, including product and department related strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding, or otherwise engaging in resolving Partnerrelated matters.
  • Develops / trains future leaders in the School of Retail Management (SORM) and School of Retail Leadership (SORL)
  • Trains Partners on proper packaging, displaying / merchandising processes according to department SOPs
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and communicating the Corporate Merchandising and Marketing plan to the Store plan
  • Prepares work schedules, orders product, controls inventory, monitors department budget and payroll
  • Regularly performs Department Partner duties

Sales / Analytics:

  • Achieves sales goals by preparing projections / forecasts, managing / reducing costs, and ensuring accuracy of invoices
  • Exhibits passion for product and customer service; drives customer engagement for department
  • Ensures instock conditions, wareroom / inventory control

Food Safety / Sanitation:

  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and H-EB policy and standards for product food safety and sanitation
  • Maintains safety / sanitation standards of equipment, department, and throughout the work area
What is your background?

  • Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
  • 1+ years of related experience, completion of internal School of Retail Management (SORM) or equivalent training
  • Experience in ordering, inventory management, and shrink control
  • Experience managing USDC-HAACP programs
  • Food Safety certification
