**Job Title: Avionics Technician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician responsible for troubleshooting, testing, modifying, upgrading, repairing, and inspecting all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. In this role, you will be expected to complete assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budgets and on schedule, while maintaining quality standards and performing tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations and requirements. Additionally, you will be required to interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams and schematics, perform wire-by-wire, power, functional and operational checkouts of electrical and avionics systems prior to aircraft flight, set up required electrical and electronic test equipment in compliance with technical data, and complete the appropriate functional test. You will also be required to connect air data test set to appropriate aircraft fixtures and complete a full functional checkout of the entire pitot/static air data system, troubleshoot and correct discrepant systems, and perform soldering applications in various positions.

**Hard Skills**

+ Troubleshooting of electrical systems on aircraft

+ Setting up required electrical and electronic test equipment

+ Functional checkout of the entire pitot/static air data system

**Job Type**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Little Rock, Arkansas.

**Work Environment**

You will be working from Monday to Friday, 7a-3:30p. You will be part of a team consisting of a lead and 4 technicians, within a maintenance department of roughly 30 people including mechanics, interior specialists and those who quote the work. Work packages are given to the lead and then work is distributed through the team.
