Job Title:

Skilled Avionics Technician

We are currently looking for a proficient Avionics Technician with a solid background in troubleshooting, testing, modifying, upgrading, repairing, and inspecting various avionics and electrical systems present in aircraft.

In this position, you will be tasked with efficiently completing assigned duties while adhering to man-hour budgets and project timelines. It is imperative to uphold quality standards, ensuring that all tasks are conducted in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Moreover, you will need to skillfully decipher intricate wiring diagrams and schematics, conduct comprehensive checkouts of electrical and avionics systems, configure electrical and electronic test equipment as per technical specifications, and execute functional tests meticulously.

Your responsibilities will also include performing full functional assessments of the pitot/static air data system, addressing any system discrepancies, and proficiently handling soldering tasks in diverse scenarios.

Job Type

This position offers a Contract-to-Hire opportunity spanning 6 months.

Work Site

The role is based at an on-site location in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Work Environment

You will operate from Monday to Friday, 7a-3:30p as part of a team led by a supervisor and comprising 4 technicians. You will be integrated into a maintenance department encompassing around 30 personnel, including mechanics, interior specialists, and estimators.

Team leaders allocate work packages for distribution among team members.
