This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Preparation; operation; monitoring; documentation of bulk slurries for blending operations
  • Operation; monitoring; documentation of computer-controlled heat treatment processes
  • Operation; monitoring; documentation of computer-controlled blending processes
  • Weighing; documenting; staging, utilizing a computer-controlled weigh system, of batch ingredients
  • Operation; monitoring; documentation of a computer-controlled clean-in-place (CIP) system utilized for manufacturing equipment (i.e. tanks, heat treatment system, etc.).
  • Perform and document product standardization operations (i.e. vitamins, flavors, oils)
  • Receipt and unloading of bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals

You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Shift

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and allows you to have every other weekend off.

  • Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF
  • Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours
  • Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun – OFF
  • Week 4 :Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college or vocational schooling
