Job DescriptionJob is currently looking for an Endoscopy Technician to join our team in Springfield, MO.

Benefits:
- Available benefits
- Weekly Pay: $41.37/hour
- Shift Details: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:
- 1 year experience as an Endo Tech

Unit:
- Inpatient and Outpatient settings

Certifications:
- BLS certification from AHA required
- CGRN certification recommended within 2 years after hire date, but not mandatory

Description:

Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency in procedure room tools and turnover, scope reprocessing, and patient transport

Preferred Skillset/Experience:
- Experience in Conscious sedation, PACU, and Gastroenterology preferred
- At least one year of hospital nursing experience (med-surg, ICU, or ED)

Other:
- Specialized skill, judgment, and knowledge required
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians and staff
- Experience working with delicate instruments

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Meet specific physical demands of the unit
- May be required to work varying schedules and shifts as per patient care needs
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment, working with fluoroscopy
- Physical demands include lifting, pushing, pulling, gripping, pinching, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Equipment Used:
- Video/fiberoptic endoscopic systems, cautery units, fluoroscopy, IV pumps, patient monitoring equipment, and computers
