- Performing diagnostic ultrasound exams to assist attending physicians with evaluation and treatment.
- Ability to work varied days and hours as needed.
Requirements:
- Two years of specific college coursework in radiology ultrasound, Associates Degree or Diploma preferred.
- ARDMS eligibility and two registries required within two years of hire.
- Current BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians in various procedures such as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies.
- Preparing written documentation, maintaining patient records, and ensuring proper technical factors on an individual basis.
- Maintaining department equipment and supplies, attending staff meetings and relevant training sessions.
- Oversight and evaluation of student ultrasound technologists.
