  • Performing diagnostic ultrasound exams to assist attending physicians with evaluation and treatment.
  • Ability to work varied days and hours as needed.

Requirements:

  • Two years of specific college coursework in radiology ultrasound, Associates Degree or Diploma preferred.
  • ARDMS eligibility and two registries required within two years of hire.
  • Current BLS certification required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting physicians in various procedures such as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies.
  • Preparing written documentation, maintaining patient records, and ensuring proper technical factors on an individual basis.
  • Maintaining department equipment and supplies, attending staff meetings and relevant training sessions.
  • Oversight and evaluation of student ultrasound technologists.
