What you will do
- Execute HVAC control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance concerning mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls components.
- Handle service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools along with various hand tools like electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.
- Offer technical assistance and repair support by effectively communicating with Johnson Controls customers.
- Provide system repair or update recommendations and aid in proposing solutions to customers.
- Be part of a growing team of top technicians in the field while advancing your career with a leading global organization.
Participate in company-sponsored and self-initiated training to maintain the highest level of knowledge and expertise. - Engage with customers to thoroughly comprehend their systems and requirements. - Communicate with JCI contractors or customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site. - Adhere to all safety standards and attend mandatory safety training with a strong focus on employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for Required:
- Strong comprehension of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in mechanical and electromechanical fields.
- Proficient in using hand, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
- Sound knowledge of personal computer usage.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and listening abilities.
- Depending on the location, mounting and terminating low-voltage devices may have specific licensing prerequisites.
