**Aerotek is currently hiring for a Tool Technician on-site at a Solar Farm in Vandalia, MO. This position is a contract position that has the potential for long-term opportunities within the solar industry. Candidates with experience as a farm hand, auto mechanic, or any other related experience are encouraged to apply.**

**Job Description:**

**The Tool Technician will be:**

+ Responsible for maintaining the hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps that are used to install the solar tracking system

+ Working on a solar site, coordinating tasks with various other members of the team

+ Working outdoors in the elements in both the cold and in the heat

+ Routinely servicing equipment

**Shift:**

**Morning/Day shift -- Sun-up to sun-down year-round**

+ Potential for overtime on the weekends and during the week day, depending on the season

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

+ Valid driver's license

+ A strong degree of mechanical aptitude

+ A high degree of knowledge in the automotive field is preferred, but not required

+ Previous experience performing routine service on equipment

+ Experience using hand and power tools

+ Basic problem-solving ability

+ Excellent communication skills
