Position Type:
Custodian

Job Description:
- Perform heavy cleaning and light maintenance duties using manual and equipment-assisted methods.
- Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of assigned facilities by properly using materials, products, and equipment.
- Conduct safety checks and monitor mechanical systems.
- Possible assignments to carpet crew, grounds crew, or other custodial duties.
- Serve as a weekend building rental monitor as per assigned shift.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: $31.08 per hour
- Work hours: 7.5 hours per day
- Work Year: 10 months
- Benefits include accrued sick and personal leave, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans

Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical fitness and ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work on ladders, scaffolding, roofs, and perform manual tasks
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and ability to follow instructions in English
- Strong customer service and communication skills for certain roles
- Valid State of Alaska driver's license may be required for specific duties
