UofL Health - UofL Physicians is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for UofL Trager Institute/Optimal Aging Clinic.

JOB SUMMARY

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides assessment, management and outcome evaluation for patients, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The APRN is skilled in whole health care and understands the value of a lifestyle medicine approach to care.

The prime candidate will serve as a resource to educate patients, families, professional nurses, and staff; function as a liaison between patients, families and UofL Physician staff; and will participate in clinical research.

The APRN should demonstrate an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation.

Experience with geriatric patients and/or medicine is preferred.
