The Special Operations Clinical Psychologist will offer technical expertise, guidance, and direct clinical service to special operations forces (SOF) for the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program, aiming to enhance SOF mission readiness, longevity, and performance through comprehensive human performance programs.

Responsibilities:
- May develop, plan, and implement resiliency programs to prevent and address behavioral health issues critical for service member readiness and resiliency.
- Perform psychological evaluations using inputs from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and other sources, as needed.
- Adhere to state licensing board regulations, American Psychological Association ethical standards, and MTF privileges.
- Diagnose psychiatric conditions following the American Psychiatric Association guidelines, offering psychological treatment to individuals and groups, aiding patients in coping with illnesses or injuries, and contributing to patient rehabilitation.
Educational Criteria/Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Requires a Secret or Top Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Must hold a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited institution.
- Completed Internship/Residency in psychology endorsed by the APA.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical work within the last 5 years in a mental health setting.
- Must satisfy clinical competency requirements as per Service-specific credentialing guidelines.
- Valid and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Obtain practice privileges from the military medical treatment facility where serving.
Standard Company Expectations:
- Adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental protocols.
- Compliance with Quality Assurance standards.
- Maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
- Completion of all mandatory training.
- Fulfillment of additional assignments and duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a government environment like DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF.
