**Job Title:** Cannabis Concierge

**Dept:** Retail

**Reports to:** General Manager

**Position Summary:**

The role of Cannabis Concierge is primarily responsible for exceptional guest service and the first impression for each guest while managing checking guests into our point-of-sale system, validating identification and age, and uploading applicable documents in a compliant manner and setting a best in class first impression as guests enter our dispensaries.

**Duties and Responsibilities (**include but are not limited to):

Must have meticulous attention to detail and be highly organized.

Verify that guests and patients have valid form of identification required by law and regulation to shop at Urbn Leaf.

Enter guest and patient information into our point-of-sale system for record. Upload all applicable documents to guest and patient profiles for record-keeping.

Ensure reception, lobby, entrances, and exits are clean and ready to go at opening and closing.

Provide high energy, best in class guest service on par with Urbn Leaf standards.

Audit guest and patient profiles to ensure all required information fields and all associated documentation and identification is present and valid.

Responsible for handling guest phone interactions at reception.

Auditing online menus for accuracy.

Uphold regulatory cannabis compliance and abide by all local/state/federal laws.

Participate in staff events and store meetings.

As possible, read industry publications to keep up to date on trends (articles and information posted by management as required reading).

Knowledgeable on all Urbn Leaf daily deals, promos, and pertinent information that accompanies daily retail operations.

Knowledgeable on all products and brands carried by Urbn Leaf.

Always keep all personal items in the back of house.

Ensure you are on time for each and every shift.

Ensure your uniform is clean, on brand, and adhering to Urbn Leaf dress code.

Will be cross-trained on other job functions in the dispensary in the event positions need to be covered.

Assist with running side work, stocking, and cleaning during downtime.

Perform other duties or projects as assigned by any other Shift Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

**Qualifications:**

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must be able to input and access information in point of sales system.

Must be able to follow all company cash handling policies and maintain an accurate cash drawer at all times.

Must be able to provide legible communication.

Must be comfortable learning new skills.

Must have reliable transportation and be punctual for all shifts, meetings, and outings.

Must be able to meet and uphold all Urbn Leaf standards

Preferred (not required) work experience as bartender, wait staff, catering, or other hospitality-industry position.

Preferred (not required) one or more years of budtending or dispensary experience.

Preferred (not required) cannabis industry background or extensive knowledge of the cannabis industry.

**Education:**

Must have one of the following:

High School diploma or GED

**Working Conditions:**

The work environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but there will be cases where the noise level is loud to extremely loud.

Requires day, night, and weekend work with the ability to work flexible hours, including holidays when needed.

**Physical Demands/Requirements:**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to walk.

The employee is occasionally required to sit.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds properly.

Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time.

Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time.

Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
