A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of the Marketing Specialist is to achieve facility census goals and annual budget projections through effective sales and marketing strategies, while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of care and service. Maintain confidentiality, follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements, and uphold our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service, and build relationships with residents, their families, and our community.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MARKETING SPECIALIST

Secondary Education Degree preferred

Two (2) years of experience in business development

Managed care/insurance preferred. Experience with public and commercial payers' sources preferred

Experience working independently

At least one year in Long Term Care/Assisted Living/Independent Living

Experience in a geriatric setting is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? Is being dependable, professional, and a team player at the heart of all you do? Do you enjoy serving and caring for seniors? Can you easily establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively? If yes, you may be a great fit for our clerical needs.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time healthcare position works traditional day shift hours, some evenings may be needed for marketing engagements.
