The Senior Manager, Category Management - Digital & Data Analytics, will be a key player in managing the indirect procurement Digital and Data Analytics category for Bausch + Lomb (B+L). This position reports to the Senior Director of Indirect Procurement and is responsible for developing and implementing category management strategies and procurement processes specifically for Digital and Data Analytics-related categories, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and leveraging digital solutions and data analytics to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for the digital technology and data analytics categories, (e.g., eCommerce platforms, supply chain digitalization, data sciences/AI, etc.), aligning with overall business objectives and cost reduction targets.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation within the digital and data analytics space.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contracts and terms, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and service levels.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, driving supplier performance improvements and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including IT, marketing, finance, and business units, to understand requirements and drive alignment on procurement strategies.
  • Utilize digital procurement tools and techniques to streamline processes, automate workflows, and enhance efficiency.
  • Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to analyze spend data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor and track procurement KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to digital procurement and data analytics, incorporating insights into procurement strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a focus on digital technology and data analytics categories.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading strategic sourcing initiatives and achieving cost savings targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships within the digital and data analytics space.
  • Proficiency in digital procurement tools and techniques, as well as data analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize competing demands.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
