Job Title: Sealants Estimator

Are you someone who enjoys problem-solving, possesses exceptional communication skills, and is eager to learn? We are in search of a motivated Sealants Estimator to join our dynamic team.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Estimator will oversee the pricing and bidding aspects of projects within the Sealants & Restoration division. Reporting to the Sealants Senior Estimator, this role involves liaising with project leads, budgeting, and estimates both within and outside the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Utilize various tools for project leads.
  • Perform takeoffs for sealants, waterproofing, restoration, and fire stopping projects.
  • Develop tracking mechanisms for project cost estimates.
  • Analyze job costs to establish production rates in estimates.
  • Estimate required construction equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with accounting for job setup processes.
  • Define scopes of work for accurate pricing.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals and suppliers.
  • Enhance expertise in new scope areas within the division.
  • Complete assigned special projects and other duties as needed.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently.
  • Previous experience with large-scale projects is advantageous.
  • Professional demeanor and leadership qualities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of sealants and waterproofing methods.
  • Willingness to adapt and strive for excellence.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for office tasks.
  • Visual acuity for detailed work.
  • Effective verbal communication.
  • Capability to lift office supplies and equipment.
  • Mobility to move within the office environment.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle operation skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • General office environment with occasional field visits.
  • Minimal exposure to hazardous elements.
  • Intermittent precautionary measures during site visits.
