Job Description:

  • Assist the Chief Human Resources Officer in day-to-day operations.
  • Process employment applications and coordinate job postings.
  • Source and recruit candidates through various methods.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate hiring of qualified job applicants.
  • Collaborate with hiring supervisors to understand staffing needs.
  • Implement recruitment resources and strategies.
  • Coordinate employee morale initiatives and volunteer activities.
  • Conduct exit interviews and maintain employee job descriptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
  • Assist with onboarding process and employment-related inquiries.
  • Comply with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with maintaining HR records and documents.
  • Perform reference checks and verifications of employment.
  • Meet unit performance measures and targets.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in human resources, law, or business preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's license and auto liability insurance.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a confidential environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Proficient with HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Light Lifting, under 15 lbs
  • Light Carrying, under 15 lbs
  • Walking, Standing, Sitting
  • Operating office equipment and motor vehicle
  • Ability to see and hear
  • Other: driving required. May require some travel after hours and overnight.
