Overview & ResponsibilitiesThe Program Manager is a strategic project management and production planning-oriented professional within Production Control who is responsible to oversee and coordinate the backlog of projects for the Cryo Product ine.

This role is required to interface with all product realization teams from New Apparatus, Global Service and Global Manufacturing with the objective of driving all projects to completion while maintaining established financial, timeliness and customer satisfaction goals.

Position is product line focused, cascading down priorities through production planning to meet customer commitments.

The successful applicant will control the diverse functional integration of inputs and outputs to accomplish the execution of Global Manufacturing orders for the assigned product line to the satisfaction of internal and external customers.

Maintain a role of ownership and operational accountability for assigned product line results.

In most cases activities are governed by established guidelines, although numerous unique situations are encountered due to the combination of various execution factors.

These situations require application of overall value stream knowledge to develop workable solutionsBACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCEBasic knowledge of Elliott products and demonstrated knowledge of Elliott processes, procedures and personnel.

Knowledge of financial parameters and accounting practices governing Elliott goals.
Proven logistic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including conflict resolution.
Awareness of the cultural diversity required by globally based customers.
Educational background, B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university or commensurate experience.

Degree in Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar is preferred.10 years' experience in production planning and control related roles, including at least 4 years' experience in an engineered to order manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Demonstrated communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge in the application of MRP / ERP systems with demonstrated skill set.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multilevel bill of material structures, inventory control requirements, storeroom operations.
Understanding of typical manufacturing processes and requirements associated with company products and facility operations.
Understanding of this role within the organization and how it can affect the overall performance of the business.

Certifications such as an MBA or APICS certification, CPIM, etc are preferredSPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement the product line master schedule in accordance with the bookings and forecast in order to achieve required contractual shipment dates.

The activity includes weekly management of the master schedule to adjust for revisions in actual bookings vs. plan.

Receiving new orders from project planning teams and oversee project scheduling per baseline scheduleCoordinating multiple projects and reconciling the interdependencies among them for an assigned product lineEstablishing, maintaining and communicating relative priorities of individual projectsProviding feedback to the company's project managers and project planning teamsFacilitating communication amongst cross-functional teamsActing as a product line champion and point of contact for project management team for assigned product lineCoordinate scheduling needs with upstream functions in Global Manufacturing (Engineering, Drafting, Supply Chain)Lead activities with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure the inclusion of customer specific inspection & test plan activities, including scheduling of customer involvement.

Coordinate with project management to ensure compliance with forecasted project billing milestones and related material transactions.
Develop projected completion dates / test slots for projects in backlog and forecast.

In conjunction with other functions, analyze and authorize the purchase of long lead-time or repetitive stock materials in order to maintain competitive product lead-time relative to current market conditions.

Develop, in conjunction with other functions, lead-times for both and individual parts and orders based on scope and specification. This activity may be pre-contract, post-contract or both.
Establish intermediate benchmark dates for deliverables that support achievement of the customer contractual shipment dates.
Prioritization of work within the facility and direct coordination with associated operations and supply chain departments.
Track and expedite (as needed) related activities to support performance to contractual schedule and budgetary parameters.
Operate as a change agent by identifying process improvements and driving them to completion.
Recommend enhancements to improve processes in order to increase volume or efficiency.

Develop, implement and analyze the facility master schedule; including but not limited to load versus capacity driven sourcing decisions for assigned product line.

Control order priorities, schedules and related resources issues for assigned product line.
