Commercial Door Technician

Job description

Opsource has partnered with an overhead commercial door company located in Duncan, SC.

Pay rate:

  • Pay range of $15-$20 an hour, depending on experience.

Shift:

  • 1st shift positions. Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (some overtime may be required)

Responsibilities:

  • Install a variety of residential and commercial garage doors with precision and attention to detail.
  • Efficiently perform installations according to plans, specifications, and established safety standards.
  • Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the installation process, providing timely solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth project coordination.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a door installer is preferred but not required.
  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of door systems and installation procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, as garage doors can be bulky and require manual handling.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to travel to job sites.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work outside and inside
