Role Summary:
  • Participate in the software development life cycle, including designing, coding, debugging, testing, and implementing complex Android applications.
  • Analyze and enhance existing applications or develop logic for new ones.
  • Create and maintain application documentation.
  • Recommend improvements in development standards.
  • Develop application implementation plans in an agile environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Technical Competence: Fully understand business requirements and implement applications within the enterprise architecture.
  • Functional Scope: Manage feature requirements, design, and delivery.
  • Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to review and provide feedback on requirements.
  • Design: Lead technical design in collaboration with the development team.
  • Work Plan: Break down work into achievable tasks and collaborate for successful delivery.
  • Development Delivery: Ensure performance, security, and reliability in application development.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards.
  • Quality: Perform Unit and Functional Tests and collaborate with QA for functional automation tests.
Technical Skills:

5+ years of Android development experience with expertise in modern architecture patterns, Android Java framework, Kotlin language, and popular libraries like Retrofit, RxJava, and Espresso. Familiarity with secure coding practices and encryption utilities.

Bonus:
  • Experience integrating with third-party devices and understanding of full-stack architecture and messaging patterns.
