Oil Shaker Furnace Operator - American Heat Treating, Inc.

Job Summary: Handling and processing customer work through the furnace line.

Oil Shaker Furnace Operator Role (3rd Shift): Operating from 10:45 pm to 7:15 am.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the line following Work Order and Standard furnace guidelines.
  • Monitor and replace oil and water filters as needed.
  • Conduct essential maintenance tasks before starting the line.
  • Keep accurate documentation, including the Furnace Log-Book.
  • Perform in-process inspections per work order and QC guidelines.
  • Check parts for distortion or foreign objects.
  • Operate all line components safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment for correct functioning and report deviations to the Supervisor.
  • Handle parts to prevent mixing processed and unprocessed parts.
  • Operate Wheelabrator under Supervisor's instructions.
  • Fixture parts as directed by Supervisor.
  • Select parts for final QC inspection, repack, and move to staging area.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, promptly clean any oil spills.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
