Job Title Software Test Engineer (Clinical) Job Description

Your challenge
In this role you will be responsible for software verification of the Patient Monitoring solution.

You will interact with a diverse team of engineers to qualify issues, report, and document test results in a regulation compliant manner.

You will join a team that is developing a Patient Monitoring solution in close cooperation with clinical partners.

You will be involved in improving our HW/SW test framework by identifying opportunities for automation and participating in the development of new protocols and tools.

We believe that people are our main asset and therefore your expertise and role in the team has the potential to grow as the project will progress toward release.

You are responsible for

3+ years of experience in testing highly critical real-time large-scale distributed client-server applications (preferably healthcare) and/or mobile (Android and iOS) applications.

Possess familiarity with HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing, embedded medical device testing with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems, and are experienced in the deployment of enterprise-wide network solutions in healthcare.

Your skills strong understanding of Microsoft Windows OS, API testing, Microservices architecture, Web testing, Mobile Application testing and networking concepts/tools such as TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, wireshark etc.

Knowledge of SAFe Agile process/workflow (Certification is a plus). Knowledge of risk analysis and FMEA. You have extensive experience investigating and troubleshooting defects.

You possess preferred skills of having an analytical and logical mindset for performing test activities such as reviewing software specifications, identify software defects, providing software enhancement feedback, creating test documentation such as test cases and concepts, communicating test updates with stakeholders and test team.

Collaborating cross functional teams such as system engineering, product support and software development.

You have any of the additional desired skills of identifying manual processes and inefficiencies and improve them through automation and/or implement test automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), experience in converting functional requirements into Gherkin scenarios.

Bachelors or a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Clinical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant equivalent technical experience; Industry wide Test Certifications is a plus.
