Brookstone Estates of Paris is looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) to be a part of their team.



Job Description:
  • Assesses prospective residents at the beginning
  • Conducts well-being evaluations and creates personalized care plans based on individual needs and preferences
  • Provides health promotion services, gives advice on disease prevention, and offers self-care education to residents
  • Interacts with residents and their families in a caring and meaningful way, aiming to create lasting positive experiences
  • Establishes communication by regularly connecting with doctors, relevant healthcare professionals, and family members
  • Recruits, trains, organizes schedules, and leads the clinical team to deliver exceptional care
  • Manages the Community's infection control program and ensures compliance with state regulations
  • Creates and supervises the Community's medication management program
  • Contributes to quality assurance and performance improvement projects
  • Adheres to all rules and regulations related to the confidentiality and privacy of resident information
Requirements:
  • Holds a valid state nursing license, RN certification is preferred
  • At least two (2) years of experience in nursing supervision
  • Prior experience in Assisted/Supportive Living is highly valued
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership and supervision skills, and the ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members
  • Exhibits outstanding interpersonal abilities and the capacity to serve with care, empathy, and respect
