As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health and performance of CASCADA.

You will oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving profitability and sustainability.

This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of hospitality finance.
Requirements

Responsibilities:


Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the long-term growth and success of Cascada, aligning with the overall business objectives and strategic priorities.

Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish revenue targets, expense forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.

Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, membership dues, hotel occupancy rates, and profit margins, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, ownership, and external stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure adequate funding for operations, investments, and debt service obligations.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions, implementing best practices and internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

Evaluate and recommend financial systems, tools, and technologies to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
Provide financial leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the management team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and economic developments that may impact the financial performance and competitiveness of Cascada.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting techniques, and performance analysis methodologies.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and formulate strategic recommendations.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences.

Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, foster collaboration, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
