Title: Business Applications Analyst

Location: Washington, D.C.
Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications; classified as full-time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.
Reports to: Megan Shipps, Technology Program Manager

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Position Overview

Tuckernuck is seeking a dynamic individual with a strong interest in the fashion industry and a mindset focused on growth. As a Business Applications Analyst at Tuckernuck, you will play a crucial role in shaping our business processes and technological landscape. Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyze, document, and implement solutions that enhance our key operations in Retail, eCommerce, and Operations. Your efforts will directly impact areas such as new store launches, eCommerce functions, business strategies, product innovations, and procurement within a lively and fast-paced setting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into actionable plans.
  • Analyze: Assess existing business practices to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Solution: Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to introduce new functionalities and improvements that align with our business objectives and enhance productivity.
  • Project Management: Take part in project planning, coordination, and execution of vital technology projects.
  • Document: Create detailed documentation of business needs, process flows, and testing strategies.
  • Test and Validate: Conduct testing and validation of new systems and updates to ensure they fulfill business requirements.
  • Train and Support: Deliver training and assistance to end users, facilitating a seamless transition to new systems and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the retail sector.

  • Self-driven individual capable of working both independently and in a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and documentation tools.
  • Ability to nurture strong relationships with stakeholders from various business areas.
  • Demonstrate an active, detail-oriented, team-player attitude, believing that no task is insignificant for the greater good.
