Pharmacy Associate Position at Rite Aid

The main role of this position is to assist customers in managing their health care needs effectively, ensuring optimal health outcomes through prescription filling, clinical services, therapy advice, exceptional customer care, and supervision of pharmacy team members.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions filled
  • Implement clinical programs to boost business and script growth
  • Provide top-notch customer service and healthcare counseling
  • Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support staff
  • Assist in training and managing Pharmacy associates
  • Take on management duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
  • Maintain security in the Pharmacy department
  • Handle customer issues and build trust and loyalty
  • Interact with physicians to resolve prescription-related matters
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Pharmacy department
Qualification Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.), or equivalent in Pharmacy, along with Immunization Certification from an accredited organization.
