Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for a polished and professional General Manager with a Corporate Services account located in Battle Creek, MI.
This manager will have total unit operating responsibilities including the supervision of hourly staff which include around 20 Sodexo frontline employees.
This individual will plan and supervise special functions, maintain cash control and payroll records, hire and train unit personnel, and maintain customer satisfaction.
This position offers a predominately Monday-Friday schedule
Key duties will include the following:
- Monitor and manage operations by upholding contract guarantees
- Manage the budget by increasing revenue and controlling costs, reviewing financial statements and tracking operating expenses
- Build and lead a great team
- Constantly improve food service operations in order to drive client and customer satisfaction
- Manage through mangers to achieve Sodexo objectives
- Ensure the execution of product and service quality by maintaining highest level of delivery
- Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives as well as create a positive work environment
- Develop strategic plans for account retention and growth
The ideal candidate for this position will:
- Provide stellar customer service (and this manager will have daily contact with multiple clients including corporate executives)
- Have strong financial acumen and can drive stability with new management
- Multi-task, lead by example and direct employees in a fast-paced environment
- Be very innovative, particularly in the areas of culinary and health and wellness offerings
