About the CompanyEdnovate is a network of public, tuition-free, high-performing college prep high schools in Los Angeles and Orange County. What You'll Do- Modify and accommodate courses aligned to College and Career Readiness standards
- Develop a course to improve students' skills
- Ensure mastery in subject area for all learners
- Develop and implement a rigorous, high-quality digital curriculum aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards and Common Core Standards
- Embody core mindsets as an effective team member
- Deliver socio-emotional support to students and ensure advisees meet promotion requirements
- Provide continual assessment of student progress
- Evaluate instructional performance to meet student needs
- Create an effective academic environment
- Utilize instructional technology effectively
- Maintain open communication with parents and community members
- Adhere to all Special Education related laws and timelines
- You believe all students deserve an excellent education
- You are essential in ensuring diverse learners' success in academics and life
- You will join a special education team preparing students for college acceptance and impactful citizenship
- 2+ years of teaching experience with a strong record of improving student learning
- A BA or BS Degree
- A California Single Subject Teaching Credential (Preferred) or a clear path to receiving a teaching credential within a year
- A growth mindset and adaptability to change
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Belief in the success of all Ednovate students in college and beyond

Additional Details:
Salary is based on experience. This position is exempt, in-person, and follows an 11-month schedule. While a California Single Subject Teaching Credential is preferred, we support candidates in pursuing full credentialing.
