Looking for a skilled Academic Hospitalist to join our team at University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center. This role is perfect for experienced hospitalists with a knack for teaching.

Our hospitalist team handles inpatient care at the facility which includes admitting patients, conducting exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, doing rounds, and overseeing discharge planning.

Responsibilities include:
  • Adherence to established policies for medical records
  • Contributing to department goals and standards
  • Accurate and timely charge submissions for services

REQUIREMENTS
  • BE/BC in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Proficient in inpatient care
  • Team player with a focus on quality
  • Experience collaborating with advanced practice providers
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Dedication to outstanding patient care
  • Active state license, CPR Certification, DEA License, Controlled Substance Registration
