Our physicians benefit from an innovative healthcare delivery model, equipped with advanced technological resources and comprehensive practice support.
As salaried physicians, MAPMG members are free from the pressures associated with alternative payment structures or fee-for-service models. Our members enjoy seamless access to specialists and medical records, enabling holistic patient care.
What You Can Anticipate:
- Unique Emergency Medicine roles
- Direct patient engagement with our Emergency Medicine Physicians
- Observation Units supported by our hospitalist teams
- Additional compensation for physicians working exclusively nights or weekends
- A collaborative, mixed-specialty department comprising emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians who learn from one another
- Shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours
- Opportunities in Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
- Minimal overnight responsibilities
- No Behavioral Health Observation duties
Essential Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Current licensure or ability to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
- Work visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates
MAPMG Physicians:
- Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
- Engage in thoughtful communication (listening, educating, advocating)
- Demonstrate integrity in leadership
