About the Position:

Responsible for evaluating, planning, coordinating, and participating in rehabilitation programs that help enhance or restore work-related, homemaking, and everyday skills, as well as overall self-sufficiency, for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. The role involves building trust and collaboration with patients, their families/support networks, and other healthcare professionals through skilled patient evaluation, careful monitoring and care, and efficient communication. Compliance with all local/state/federal rules, codes, policies, and procedures is essential to ensure patient privacy and safety while providing exceptional care. Offers clinical oversight to assistants and aides, and acts as a clinical mentor for assigned students.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
OT-Occupational Therapist
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, sound judgement, and ability to work autonomously.
- Understanding and application of professional practices and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in handling a challenging work environment, managing multiple priorities, and completing tasks within set timelines.
- Ability to use computers and essential technologies proficiently.
- Demonstrates effective professional communication (verbal & written), interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork, customer service, and community relations.
- Capacity to learn and apply new knowledge and skills.
- Stays updated on the latest developments and advancements in professional practice.

Pay Range is $58.35 to $72.94 / hour

The stated salary range for this role may differ slightly above or below the mentioned range based on the location. This range is not adjusted for any specific geographical variations that may be applicable depending on the area where the position is located. Compensation considers various factors such as experience, education, skills, licenses and certifications, equity within the department, training, and organizational necessities. Base pay is just one element of the comprehensive rewards program provided by Sutter Health. Eligible positions also receive a comprehensive benefits package.
