POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking a Civil Engineer II to support the firms progressive and dynamic civil and environmental engineering team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans for projects
  • Lead or assist with preparation of construction documents
  • Work with junior, mid-level, and senior team members of various disciplines on project tasks and assignments
  • Develop unique solutions to solve problems encountered during design
  • Develop and work within budget and schedule
  • Prepare plan drawings, technical specifications, design documentation reports, bid quantities, and construction cost estimates.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • 3-5+ years of post graduate professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phases
  • In depth knowledge of civil/structural standards, methods and practices.
  • Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, LDT, Hydro CAD, Flowmasters, StormCAD, etc
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills
DESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred, or the intention to complete registration
At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
