We are currently seeking a dedicated Freight Broker to join our team at our Monmouth Junction location. Hermann provides a competitive salary package along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401k matching program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must have experience as a TL Freight broker
- Collaborate with customers and carrier partners to ensure smooth deliveries
- Conduct sales, negotiate rates, and manage billing processes
- Handle customer accounts and address issues efficiently
- Accurate data entry tasks and cargo tracking
- Perform additional assigned duties
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar field, or relevant industry experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Customer Management Systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent data entry capabilities
- Prior experience in Customer Service and a preference for transportation industry knowledge
