Patient Care Coordinator

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

To deliver top-notch customer service and service delivery by managing referrals for medical goods and services to clients and patients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY ENTAIL:

  • Contacting patients regarding new or ongoing referrals
  • Communicating with vendor partners, adjusters, and case managers
  • Arranging vendor partners for each referral
  • Making/taking phone calls for various referrals
  • Providing quotes to clients for approval
  • Ensuring billing info is accurate in each referral
  • Processing referrals following state regulations and guidelines
  • Supporting the organization's quality programs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education & Licensing: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, and computer literacy
  • Experience: Customer service experience preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical: Computer usage
  • Auditory/visual: Hearing, vision, and speech
  • Mental: Clear thinking, judgment, and meeting deadlines
