Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team. The BCBA will work closely with students, teachers, and other school staff to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans. This role is crucial in fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring that all students have the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and other staff to integrate behavioral strategies into students educational plans.
  • Provide training and support to school staff and parents on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the implementation of BIPs.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, plans, and progress reports.
  • Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and continuing education requirements for BCBA certification.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • At least [X] years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students, including those with special needs.
