Program Manager and Researcher
Key Role:

Manages a team of two Senior Scholars and four Research Assistants in support of a DoD client. Ensures that the objectives, scope, deliverables, and schedule are defined for all tasks within the contract. Serves as the single point of contact and coordinator for all support activities and stated requirements for the contract. Develops and maintains the research task schedule for each research area, to be updated weekly with progress updates on research tasks and deliverables, schedule date changes, and other issues as requested by the Government. Ensures delivery team performs tasks in a timely manner, including the development of all required reports to monitor the execution of the tasks for successful delivery. Meets on scheduled dates and times, as determined by the team to discuss research progress and address concerns or contract deliverables. Maintain responsibility for completing monthly status reports, with the status of each research plan, and describes anticipated activities for the next reporting period. Maintain responsibility for completing monthly financial status reports.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, leading and supervising multi-disciplinary teams in support of U.S. government international programs
  • Knowledge of Irregular Warfare
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Master's degree in National Security or International Relations, or 20 years of experience in the Irregular Warfare field
  • PMP Certification

  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
