Job Title: Assembler II

Company: Switchgear Manufacturer

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units following engineering drawings
  • Maintain and properly use tools
  • Perform quality checks and inspections
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis
  • Work on mechanical adjustments for switchgear
  • Promote a safety culture and attend safety meetings
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read a tape measure and basic command of English
  • Basic computer skills and able to lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MES systems, Oracle preferred
  • Experience in building or repairing mechanical components

Working Conditions

  • Safety-sensitive position in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment and work at heights

Physical Requirements

  • Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility
  • Bending, standing, walking, and using hand and power tools
  • Ability to meet physical lifting demands
