Travel Specialist

Key Role:
- Implement the program's plan, procedures, and tasks for contract travel on behalf of the government.
- Coordinate travel activities with program leaders, enforcing quality, security, risk, and cost controls to ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Provide training, guidance, and support to program personnel regarding travel processes, hazardous travel situations, travel restrictions, import and export controls.
- Act as the program's connection to Booz Allen's International Trade Compliance (ITC) Team.
- Assist the Program Management Office's team with extensive OCONUS travel needs.
- Collaborate with program leadership and consultants to fulfill travel requirements such as Travel Authorization Requests, Trip Reports, and travel expense management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data entry, database management, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong skills in building and maintaining productive relationships.
- Must hold a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree required.

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or FEDSIM programs.
- Familiarity with submitting Travel Authorization Requests (TARs), Requests to Initiate Purchases (RIPs), and Trip Reports (TRs).
- Understanding of FAR travel regulations, U.S. import/export policies, or International Trade Compliance (ITC) processes.
- Consulting skills are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for engaging with various stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Clearance:


Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for accessing classified information; Secret clearance is a must.

Compensation

- The projected salary range for this role is $54,000.00 to $123,000 annually. This estimate is part of our total compensation package that considers various factors.

Work Model
