You will be the Project Engineer Senior Staff for the F-35 Engineering Project Office leading sustainment projects as a project engineer.

This role will be the technical project engineer leading and executing complex projects, providing status updates, and integrating efforts across program management, structures engineering, systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, Chief Engineering, and the F-35 customer.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Leading technical projects and integrating across many different lines of businesses.

• Acting as the project engineering point of contact for technical issues in the engineering project office.

• Ensuring technical issues are investigated, mitigated, and tracked to completion.

• Leading and supporting status meetings for internal teams, suppliers, and F-35 customers.

• Developing and maintaining metrics.

• Developing and coordinating Basis of Estimates (BOE's).

• Training and mentoring team members.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

This position may require some travel.

Desired skills


• Masters degree from an accredited college in engineering or related field.

• F-35 Engineering experience.

• Experience working with project management and/or data visualization tools. (Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Python, Tableau, or related tools).

• Control Account Management (CAM) or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
