Job Description:
Assist in the examination and care of patients under the supervision of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or physician.Responsibilities and Qualifications:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in treatments as directed by provider, nurse, or licensed practical nurse. Conduct specific clinical tasks.
- Interview patients, take vital signs, and update patients' records. Prepare examination rooms.
- Handle basic clerical tasks such as answering calls, maintaining files, and organizing.
- Manage materials including ordering and stocking supplies. Assist in keeping a clean environment.
- Remain alert and work safely at all times.
- Perform other assigned duties.
EDUCATION
- Wisconsin - High school diploma and graduate of medical assisting school
- Other States - High school Diploma or relevant education and experience
EXPERIENCE
- No prior experience needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech for communication.
- Regular lifting, pushing, and reaching objects up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Driving occasionally required.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
