Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients with various orthopedic conditions, including evaluations, treatments, and follow-up appointments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including range of motion, strength, and functional ability evaluations.
  • Administer physical therapy interventions, such as exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Document patient progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • At least one year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting.
  • Current CPR certification.
