Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Wire Assembler to join the team in Everett, WA Assemblers in this position cut/trim electrical wire, build wire bundles used to connect electrical systems, and build shelf and panel assemblies.

These bundles are later installed in the Join and Installation (J&I), System and Installations (S&I), Final Body Join (FBJ), Final Assembly (FA) or other major sub assembly shops.


Position Responsibilities:
Obtain and verify that kitted (pre-picked) materials were issued correctly.
Ensure that parts issued are correct & free of visible defects.
If necessary, assemble materials, parts, standards & tools as required.
Set up job per work instruction.
Install board/table brackets & clamps as required.
Set up & operate Numerical Control (N/C) wire cutting machine(s) to cut & code wire.
Load cutting tools & wire, adjust feeds/speeds as required.
Fabricate wire bundles, by cutting, coding, counting, sleeving & splicing wire.
Install connectors, lugs, solder sleeves, ferrules & contacts.
Crimp & terminate using hand or machine crimping tool; tie with lock stitch or conduit straps.
Hand form as necessary.
Cut & install plastic sleeves over wires & wire bundles, as required.

Install accessories (relays, circuit breakers, switches & lights) and decals onto shelves and panels as required, using hand tools and soldering gun.

Check continuity of electrical assemblies using test lights or ohmmeter, as required.
Handle & dispose of hazardous materials in approved manner.

Check work upon completion of each operation & ensure it is complete per others as part of a team which includes working safely giving and receiving feedback, assisting others in completion of tasks; possess interpersonal, listening, and participation skillsExperience utilizing math that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractionsBlue print readingThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position meets Export controlled requirements and Requires a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.
