Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in hot environments
  • Willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Biology
  • Background in manufacturing, warehouse, greenhouse environment, or landscaping

Responsibilities:

  • Work in greenhouse and headhouse environments
  • Support trait introgression and initiatives
  • Work independently and in teams
  • Cross-functional collaboration with 9 team members
  • Activities include sampling plant tissue, planting seeds, maintaining growth conditions, preparing solutions, assisting in plant care, and greenhouse maintenance tasks
  • Day-to-day tasks vary from sampling on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to planting, repotting, and other activities on Thursdays and Fridays

Skills Required:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot conditions
  • Effective communication and attention to detail
