Job Summary
This role involves overseeing safety management and plant production operations, ensuring adherence to company and plant policies, meeting production schedules and standards, producing in line with customer requirements, optimizing production efficiency, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions related to our heat-formed products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
- Achieve safety objectives by taking a hands-on approach and leading safety initiatives to maintain a secure work environment.
- Identify and address operational delays to meet shipping deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the facility.
- Enhance the talent pool within operations to drive growth and meet market demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive enhancements in cost efficiency, product lead times, and new product introductions.
- Oversee production areas in coordination with quality, customer service, new product development, and sales.
- Maximize manufacturing efficiency by implementing continuous improvement programs.
- Manage and forecast departmental budgets.
- Promote a positive perception of the company to various stakeholders.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through improved delivery performance and quality.
- Participate in implementing new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree
- 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing supervision
- Experience in thermoforming, injection molding, or related processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, and change management skills
