The Logistics Billing Analyst in Logistics Business Operation will perform billing system administration, vendor payment, customer service, and financial activities including payments, reporting, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
Process customer billing accurately on or before deadlines as per requirements and according to company policy.

Manage, analyze & prepare correction forms for billing corrections in access database.

Review and discuss essential freight documentation that supports charges invoiced and is required for payment.

Use knowledge and gain understanding of how billing functions affect P&L.

Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts.

Work with the internal technologies required for daily functions.

Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing.

Perform ad-hoc reporting, as required.

Perform other job related duties as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor Degree preferred

2+ years of experience in accounting/finance/business management related experience or related experience in logistics and transportation industry required

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)

Clear and concise communication skills

Ability to prioritize, to shift focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties

Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting

Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to abrupt changes

Well organized and good follow up skills

Ability to sense urgency and know when to escalate for assistance

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers

Ability to work overtime when needed
