MRI Technologist at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital

Join our team at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital and be part of a dynamic healthcare organization in southern Michigan and Ohio.


Primary Duties:

  • Demonstrate expertise in utilizing MRI equipment and radiology information systems
  • Administer contrast and IV contrast according to standards
  • Educate patients on procedures and provide clear communication
  • Assist in diagnostic MRI procedures for patients of all ages
  • Train and evaluate new MRI associates and students
  • Maintain departmental equipment and facilities
  • Ensure patient comfort and needs are met in a dignified manner
  • Follow safety standards and organization's mission and values
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • High school graduate
  • Completion of formal radiologic technology training
  • Meet ARRT registry requirements
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of one year MRI experience preferred
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced medical environment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competency in use of facility communication systems and equipment
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to various hazards
  • Physical requirements including lifting and moving objects
