Marketing Director

Teachers of Tomorrow is looking to add a Marketing Director to our team. This candidate will be responsible for leading our marketing team and driving our company's growth and success. This position is remote.

About the Position

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the marketing department and leading a team of talented professionals. You will develop and execute strategic marketing and communications initiatives to promote our programs, build our brand, and improve our customer experience. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a passion for marketing, a track record of success, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains departmental supervisory and contributing staff
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Coaches and develops team members to deliver departmental goals and drive employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to achieve company objectives.
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster their growth and development.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
    • Define target customer segments and develop tailored marketing campaigns to effectively reach and engage them.
    • Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI and achieve business goas.
    • Oversee the planning and execution of all marketing activities, including advertising, branding, promotions, events, PR, communications, and digital marketing efforts.
    • Monitor and analyze the prformance of marketing campiagns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our marketing efforts.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, serving as a brand ambassador and networking with key stakeholders.

What We are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related-field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success. Education marketing experience and/or leading a marketing team in a entrepreneurial environment preferred.
  • Deep understanding of amrketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with expertise in both traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpet data, analyze trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Hands-on technical marketing experience, including the Google tech stack, Meta business and ad manager, utm tracking, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Proven experience with content development, SEO strategies, and developing effective customer journey and communication strategies.
  • Experience with PR, social media strategies, and earned media.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and empower a team.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and achieving targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Must be able to legally work for any US company without sponsorship.
