Position Description:

Job Purpose and Scope:

OZK Labs is the entrepreneurial heart of Bank OZK located at the center of the Innovation District in Downtown St. Petersburg, FL. We lead the digital transformation of community banking to deliver financial services that positively impact the lives of our customers.

Designs and develops high-quality software applications and components using modern technologies and best practices.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Develops and maintains software applications with general supervision. Follows coding standards and best practices ensuring work is completed timely and accurately. Leverages technical skills and experience to complete the work more efficiently.

+ Designs features of moderate complexity given coding standards and solution architecture.

+ Works in an agile environment effectively collaborating with other functions and teams. Approaches every task with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

+ Contributes to continual improvement efforts by suggesting improvements to applications and processes.

+ Continuously learns new technologies, best practices, and architecture patterns.

+ Proficient knowledge of software engineering principles, architectural patterns, and best practices.

+ Knowledge of and experience in modern technologies used to develop scalable, performant web, desktop, and mobile applications. Preferably experience with ASP.NET, , , React Native frameworks; JavaScript, TypeScript, C# languages; Azure cloud.

+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills.

+ Ability to demonstrate effective organizational, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment delivering quality work on time.
