About the Company and Job Title:

Airwallex offers the role of Senior Account Manager, Enterprise, a pivotal sales position as we experience rapid growth in North America. In this role, you will collaborate with our platform team to engage with our most thrilling clients throughout the API implementation, go-live, and post-go-live stages. You will engage with various teams within the Airwallex family, including sales, product, engineering, marketing, finance, and strategy. As a tech-savvy individual and a Fintech enthusiast, you are motivated by mastering the intricacies of our platform to tackle intricate challenges. This knowledge will enable you to collaborate with clients to comprehend their requirements and explore how Airwallex can deliver additional value to their operations.

This position will involve working 2+ days in the New York office, making it a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adopt a consultative approach with customers to ensure the solutions offered meet their specific business requirements
  • Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to oversee and enhance customer interaction and platform utilization
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Support, Billing, and other Technical teams to ensure outstanding customer experiences and address any customer concerns
  • Oversee complex customer projects spanning various technical and non-technical domains
  • Show initiative in identifying and resolving client issues
  • Act as the voice of the customer by collecting feedback and conveying requests to Product Management and Development
  • Attain and surpass sales targets in terms of volumes and revenues, prioritizing customer needs
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on performance against KPIs, metrics, and targets
  • Ensure a seamless customer onboarding process and deliver the best customer experience
  • Collaborate with customer and technical support teams to establish best practices for client engagement
Requirements:
  • Experience - A minimum of 5 years handling complex technology sales or managing enterprise accounts (experience in fintech is advantageous)
  • Relationship building - Establish meaningful, collaborative relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and domains
  • Problem-solving skills - Seek innovative solutions, grasp new products, and ask pertinent questions before devising resolutions. Simplify complex concepts for others
  • Desire to contribute to something exceptional, displaying resilience, drive, creativity, patience, adaptability, and the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Goal-oriented, taking responsibility for achieving key outcomes, such as KPIs and revenue targets
  • Technical acumen is essential, with prior experience in API sales or account management within a similar organization
