NMC is currently recruiting for a Quality Specialist position with Northwestern Medical Group. This position is a full-time (80 hours bi-weekly) position.
- JOB SUMMARY:
- The Northwestern Medical Group, Quality Specialist, serves as a resource for improving operational processes and access to clinical care. The Quality Specialist is responsible for working collaboratively with clinical departments in defining access improvement projects, conducting data analysis, facilitating work groups, and monitoring, tracking and reporting results that focus on improving access to the clinical practice.
- PREREQUISITES
- Education: Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a clinical setting; prior experience in performance improvement, quality, or management engineering; strong data analysis, facilitation, organizational and communication skills; minimum yellow belt certified in Six Sigma; customer focus and service quality orientation is essential.
Other Skills: The ideal candidate will be trained in process improvement methodologies and will have experience in the physician practice setting.
