Jackie American Bistro is looking for a skilled restaurant manager to join their team.The successful candidate should have solid experience in fine-dining establishments, particularly in staff training and delivering exceptional service. They should have a minimum of four years of relevant management experience and a track record of achieving success and driving growth.As part of a small management team, the chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing services, and implementing training programs. Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading, motivating, and supervising all staff to maintain a high team morale.
  • Managing floor operations, opening, and closing duties.
  • Creating weekly schedules and ensuring adequate floor coverage based on business requirements.
  • Designing and executing continuous training and development initiatives for all front-of-house (FOH) staff.
  • Updating and managing FOH training materials such as service manuals and menu guides.
  • Establishing staff evaluation criteria and conducting performance reviews.
  • Participating in recruitment, onboarding, and performance assessments of employees.
  • Ensuring exceptional service quality.
  • Maintaining valid ABRA Manager and Food Manager Licenses.
  • This role involves working evening, night shifts, and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or possess equivalent professional experience of ten years.
  • Have at least four years of progressive management experience in upscale dining establishments.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Possess strong business writing skills.
  • Display excellent time-management abilities.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
